MORE ABOUT ME

My name is Kelcie George and I have been a Certified Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach for over 4 years now.

I am from Utah, and love it here- I'm a nerd for the mountains of northern Utah and the beautiful desert of southern Utah. I love to golf, and more importantly pretend I'm good at it- same with jump roping. I also have two dogs that bring out the full dog mom in me- Tuck, a pitbull lab and Royce, a frenchie. Royce is a Mascot of the gym, you will likely meet him :)

My passion to be a part of such great work stemmed from playing soccer most of my life and living an active life. Although, it wasn't until these activities and activity level in general dropped drastically did I fully start to grasp how important nutrition and exercise really is. After having graduated from College with my Health Science degree and having played soccer for the years I was there, I had a rude wake up call to my bad eating habits- and put on weight fairly quickly. Yes it's the classic has-been collegiate athlete story.

Through education, my own trial and error, working among fellow coaches and completely immersing myself in the vulnerability of recognizing what habits I needed to change, the most important thing I have learned is that everyone is on their own journey. This is an often overlooked aspect when people are taking a big step to begin their health and fitness journey. I am very motivated by my clients and seeing them take the wonderful challenge of bettering themselves in a way that suits them as a person. Health takes on many names these days, my goal is to clear that up for each and every one of my clients- and help them see it through for long term change.
